Scholarship Application

The Woodford SnoBusters, Inc. (WSB) Scholarship Awards offer an opportunity for those people associated with the snowmobile club to assist in their financial needs of obtaining a higher education.

Only completed applications will be considered. Please be sure that both application forms are filled in and postmarked no later than February 1st of the current year. Applications received after that date will not be considered. Payment of awards will be made directly to successful candidate.

- Please be aware that there are 3 parts to this application process -

Application Requirements

Part 1:

1. Official transcript from High School, College, Technical, or Vocational School

2. Two recommendations in writing from teachers, employers, clergy, or others (Community volunteer work, organization leaders, etc)

3. Proof of acceptance at a College, University, Technical, or Vocational School.

4. An essay of 500 words or less that addresses one of the following issues:

-Preservation and protection of our environment as related to Snowmobiling

-How will you apply your education to the future benefits to the sport of Snowmobiling?

-What do you perceive as the most important issues facing the future of Snowmobiling in Vermont (or elsewhere)?

One or two $500 Scholarship Awards will be awarded yearly.
Successful candidates will be notified by March 31st.
